General instructions
Instructions
1 - After twenty-four (24) hours, remove the Derm Shield bandage from the tattooed area.

2 - Wash your hands thoroughly before cleaning or touching your tattoo.

3 - If available, apply second (or third, if necessary) Derm Shield bandage and leave on for up to, but no more than, seven (7) days.

4 - After removing the second or third Derm Shield bandage, using your fingertips, wash the tattoo gently with cool water and an antibacterial body soap. (ex. Dr. Bronner's Unscented Baby Soap)

5 - Apply a sensitive skin, fragrance free moisturizer three to five (3-5) times a day. (ex. Aveeno Eczema Therapy Lotion or Shea Butter)

6 - Before bed, apply the moisturizer to maintain moisture throughout the night. Do so again when you wake up.
Healing Time: 2-8 weeks
Tips
- Always wash your hands before touching your tattoo.

- Do not use a cloth towel (wash cloth) or anything abrasive on the tattoo.

- Do not scratch your tattoo or pick the scab. Naturally it will itch, scratching it will only damage your skin and the tattoo. Not only that, it can cause infection.

- Avoid hot tubs, swimming pools, the ocean, and soaking during the healing process.

- Avoid direct sunlight and tanning beds. Definitely avoid tanning oils, fragrant lotions (ladies), and sand.

- Avoid tight fitting clothes because they can irritate the new tattoo and possibly even prematurely remove the scab.

- Change your bed sheets once a week.
